First and foremost, here is your warning that Patrick's story deals with a lot of heavy themes. While not all of these are relevant to every single verse, some of the themes that can pop up include but are not limited to: sexual content, heavy drug use, addiction & withdrawal, war & imperialism, violence, child neglect, child death, animal cruelty & death, untreated mental health conditions, hallucinations/unreality, medical procedures, gore & body horror, etc. If any of these topics are seriously triggering to you, I recommend keeping your distance from this blog. Curate your online experience and trust that I will curate mine.

Secondly, please note that I don't support or participate in callouts in any way, nor do I want to associate with anyone who does. Not interested in drama, vague blogging, or interacting with racists, zionists, homophobes, transphobes, ableists, and other assorted assholes either. I block liberally, and it's not always related to the aforementioned reasons. Sometimes the vibes just don't mesh; we can always try again later. This blog is 21+ ONLY!

With all that out of the way, this is a selective and private RP blog for PATRICK SUMNER, a canon character that you've likely never heard of before. That's fine; treat him like you would an OC because at this point he pretty much is. His original story is set in the 19th century, but a variety of verses are available.

Regarding matters of RP etiquette, I don’t mind RP partners reblogging memes from me without sending in something first. Nor do I mind if you reblog various inspo posts for your muse, but all within reason. I do ask that you don't follow me SOLELY for reblogging memes or aesthetic posts from me if you have no interest at all in my character. Other than that, send asks whenever you want (be that ic or ooc), turn them into threads, throw random starters at me, all's good. You are so very encouraged to take your time with replies or drop things as needed. No need to tell me or justify yourself! Also important to note that I only write & plot with mutuals. Sideblogs count too, of course.

I keep my writing in the third person and present tense generally, but I can adapt. Don't worry about matching my replies in length if I get too wordy; just make sure you give me something to work with and advance the thread however you see fit, and we're good to go. I don't mind the occasional instance of god-modding or meta-gaming too much either as long as you don't go overboard with it or assume things/write actions that are glaringly OOC for Patrick.

Please refrain from using the super-duper tiny font when writing with me because I have trouble reading it. Small text is fine; smaller than small isn't. Besides the text size, I have no qualms with any other type of formatting as long as it’s reasonably legible.

I will try to tag common triggers accordingly (e.g. “blood tw”), but please read that big list of potentially triggering themes again and make sure this is the kind of blog you want on your dash. NSFW content of a sexual nature is simply tagged as '"suggestive" but not put under a read more.

If you want to ship with me, all you have to do is ask. At the very least, we can discuss it, and it's no big deal if it doesn't work out now. Just be aware that Patrick isn't the most lovey-dovey guy out there, to say the least, and romantic relationships with him don't always come easily.

FALLOUT : Ex NCR combat medic, currently with the Followers of the Apocalypse. BUT, alternative verse where he's forced to work with the Legion and see to Caesar's health. Addicted to chems, you guessed it.

THE WITCHER : Studied medicine at Oxenfurt Academy, enlisted in the Redanian Army, something something he was framed and had to desert to escape capital punishment. Kept a low profile for a couple of years, got involved with some shady underground networks in Novigrad, became addicted to Fisstech. When the witch hunts start (at the beginning of the TW3 timeline), he embarks on a merchant ship as the ship’s surgeon. It’s not long before the ship falls prey to Skellige Raiders, and because a medic can always be put to good use, Patrick is taken inland.
